On September 23, the aluminum products processing project of Yunnan Kailong New Material Co., Ltd. with an annual production capacity of 300,000t and the aluminum-based alloy project of Jiangnan Hongsheng Aluminum-based Alloy New Material (Yunnan) Co., Ltd. with an annual production capacity of 150,000t started construction in Yanshan County Yunnan Green Aluminum Innovation Industrial Park.
The aluminum products processing project of Yunnan Kailong New Material is located in Biyun Village, Ganhe Township, Yanshan County, with a total area of about 100mu and a planned total investment of 500 million yuan (77.4 million US dollars). It will build a production line with an annual output of 300,000t of aluminum bar, aluminum alloy ingot, aluminum wire and rod, aluminum plate and strip, aluminum foil and aluminum products.
The aluminum-based alloy project of Jiangnan Hongsheng, with a planned investment of 500 million yuan (77.4 million US dollars), covers an area of 75mu and will mainly produce aluminum, aluminum wire, aluminum manganese alloy, aluminum silicon manganese alloy, aluminum nickel alloy, aluminum titanium alloy and other products. After the project is completed, the annual output value can reach 2.5 billion yuan (387 million US dollars).
