    NDRC approves extension of expired united pilot production coal mines

    Recently, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and National Energy Administration (NEA) jointly released a notice, explicitly approving the extension of expired united pilot production coal mines, with an extension period of one year in principle.

    The notice also required related local authorities to speed up handling of coal mine licenses, approve qualified coal mines to start united pilot production as soon as possible, and carry out acceptance check in a timely manner on united pilot production coal mines with complete permits and licenses for formal production in accordance with laws and regulations.
