From January to June 2021, Turkey imported a total of about 18.9 million tons of coal, a year-on-year increase of about 6 . 5% . Among them, the imports of thermal coal and coking coal were 15 . 268 million tons and 2 . 989 million tons respectively, up by 5 . 7% and 10 . 7% from a year earlier.
