Ningxia's raw coal production up by 6% in H1

According to the data released by Ningxia Bureau of Statistics a few days ago, from January to June, raw coal output of industrial enterprises above designated size in Ningxia recorded 41.584 million tons, up by 6.0% year-on-year and 10.0% against the corresponding period of 2019, with an average increase of 4.9% over the two years, and the growth rate dropped by 0.1 percent point from the period from January to May.
In particular, general bituminous coal output reached 38.729 million tons, an increase of 6.2%; coking bituminous coal output was 2.192 million tons, up by 29.3%; anthracite coal output recorded 663,000 tons, a decrease of 38.8%.
From January to June, the raw coal sales volume of local industrial enterprises above designated size was 37.911 million tons, an increase of 12.2% over the corresponding period last year.
As of the end of June, the region's raw coal inventory was 1.968 million tons, and the inventory turnover days recorded nine days.
In addition, from January to June, the coke output of industrial enterprises above designated size in Ningxia reached 4.951 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.7%.
