Recently, India's second round of commercial coal mining auction has entered the final stage, and will launch the e-auction process on August 2, earlier than the previously planned August 9.
Among the 67 coal mines for sale in the coal mine auction, only 19 coal mines have received bids, of which 4 mines are coking coal mines and 15 mines are power coal mines.
Among the coal mines that received bids, only 8 mines received two or more bids. According to the auction guidelines for coal mines in India, technical bidding requires at least two technical bids to be considered effective.
Among the 8 coal mines that have entered the e-auction, 5 mines are developed or partially developed coal mines, with an estimated annual production capacity of 3.72 million tons . The remaining 11 coal mines that received a single technical bid will be resold separately.
