Alberta's coal production up by nearly three times MOM in May

Canada's Alberta Energy Regulator released data showing that in May, Alberta's coal production was about 1.28 million tons, a significant increase of 2.9 times from last month.
Data showed that Alberta produced 870,400t of bituminous coal in May, but did not produce bituminous coal in April; the sub-bituminous coal output was 407,300t, an increase of 23.57% from the previous month.
From January to May this year, Alberta produced a total of 4.04 million tons of coal, including 1.75 million tons of bituminous coal and 2.29 million tons of sub-bituminous coal.
