On 7 June, 2001, Peru launched the anti-dumping investigation against stainless steel tableware originating in China. On 19 February, 2002, Peru released Notice No. 004-2002/CDS-INDECOPI and made anti-dumping positive final decision on the case, starting levying anti-dumping tax of 9 . 01-830 . 77% on involved products . On 17 July, 2011, the former Dumping and Subsidy Committee of Peru approved Notice No. 082-2011/CFD-INDECOPI and decided to prolong the expiry date of anti-dumping tax on involved Chinese products by five years and adjust the tax to USD1.64/kg . On 12 June, 2017, the Dumping, Subsidy and Removing Non-tariff Trade Barriers Committee of INDECOPI released Notice No.136-2017/CDB-INDECOPI and decided to keep the anti-dumping tax on involved products unchanged, but exempted the anti-dumping tax on involved products with FOB prices higher than USD18.4/kg, effective from 19 July, 2016 with a validity period of five years.
