Jiangxi Copper to build lithium battery copper foil project

Jiangxi Copper announced that it has entered into an investment agreement with Shangrao Economic and Technological Development Zone to set up a new subsidiary to invest and build the 100,000tpy lithium battery copper foil project, 220,000tpy copper rod project and 300,000tpy casting materials project inside the development zone. The total investment for the three projects is estimated at 12.8 billion yuan (1.98 billion US dollars).
