According to the data released by the Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission a few days ago, in June, the coal intake and consumption of unified management power plants in Hubei exceeded 5 million tons respectively, setting a record high in the same period.
In particular, 5.612 million tons of thermal coal were transferred, a year-on-year increase of 1 . 140 million tons or 25 . 5%, and a two-year average growth rate of 10 . 7%; the consumption of thermal coal reached 5 . 246 million tons, up by 1 . 584 million tons or 43 . 3% from the corresponding period last year, and a two-year average growth rate of 15 . 6%.
As of the end of June, the thermal coal inventory recorded 4.583 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 963,000 tons . Calculated based on the full-load operation of all generator units, the average daily coal consumption would be 285,000 tons, and the inventory at the end of June could meet the consumption for 16 days.
