Liaoning dissolves 6.02 million tons of crude steel capacity during 13th Five-Year Plan

On the 5th press conference for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of CPC held by Liaoning provincial party committee on June 16, 2021, Hu Tao, the party secretary and superintendent of the ecological environment agency in Liaoning, announced that during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Liaoning dissolved 6.02 million tons of crude steel capacity, 38.57 million tons of coal capacity and eliminated 1.89 million tons of ironmaking capacity.
