China's crude steel output rises by 13.9% YoY in Jan-May

The data from National Bureau of Statistics showed that China produced 473 million tons of crude steel in the first five months of 2021, up by 13.9% year on year, and recorded an average daily output of about 3.13 million tons in this period, up by 0.4% from that in the first four months of 2021.
In May, China produced 99.45 million tons of crude steel, up by 6.6% year on year, and recorded an average daily output of about 3.21 million tons, down by 1.6% month on month.
