    NSSC increases domestic contract prices of stainless steel plate in June

    NSSC announced on June 8 that it increased the domestic contract prices for June, 2021. Specifically, it lifted SUS304 nickel-based stainless steel cold-rolled plates of thin and thick grades by JPY15,000/t (USD876/t) and SUS430 chromium-based stainless steel cold-rolled plates of thin grades by JPY10,000/t (USD584/t).Asian Metal Copyright .Asian Metal Copyright The price increases were all reflected in the alloy surcharge, while the base prices remained unchanged. Cumulative nickel-based product and chromium-based product prices rose by JPY50,000/t (USD2,919/t) and JPY30,000/t (USD1,751/t) respectively since this year.
