EQ Resources discovers high-grade tungsten at Mt Carbine open-pit mine

Australian EQ Resources announced that it has intersected high-grade tungsten during drilling of the Mt Carbine open-pit mine in Cairns, Queensland.
The company carried out a 17-hole drill program at the site, targeting shallows high-grade zones of tungsten below the previous open-pit floor of the historic mine.
Initial results from the drilling have been received, with best intercepts of 4.35 metres at 1.31 per cent tungsten trioxide (WO3) from 123.37 metres, including 0.54 metres at 8.03 per cent WO3 recorded.
EQR will consider stripping the open pit as part of ongoing Bankable Feasibility Study for the Mt Carbine Tungsten Mine.
