World Steel issues 50 top steel-producing companies in 2020

On June 3, World Steel Association published the 2021 edition of World Steel in Figures. It showed that in 2020, the global crude steel output reached about 1,878 million tons and the apparent steel use (finished steel products) reached 1,772 million tons.
World Steel also released the output ranking of major steel companies in 2020. China Baowu Group ranked the first in the world with an output of 115 million tons. ArcelorMittal, HBIS Group, Shagang Group, Nippon Steel ranked the second, third, fourth and fifth with an output of 78.46 million tons, 43.76 million tons, 41.59 million tons and 41.58 million tons respectively.
