Guangdong to cut coal proportion to 31% in primary energy consumption by 2025

People's Government of Guangdong recently issued an outline for the 14th Five-Year Plan of economic and social development and long-range objectives of 2035 for Guangdong
. The outline put forward that by 2035, the total installed capacity in Guangdong would reach around 180GW and the largest power transmission capacity of Power Diversion from West to East (supplier) would reach 45GW . In primary energy consumption, the proportion of coal would move down to 31%, but the proportion of natural gas, renewable energy sources and nuclear power would reach 14%, 22% and 7% respectively.
