National Mine Safety Administration announces to strengthen alarm treatment, supervision and check on gas overrun in coal mines

Since the beginning of this year, gas and carbon monoxide overrun in coal mines and related accidents occurred in China from time to time. In order to reinforce management, firmly prevent and control the happening of major security risks and major accidents, the National Mine Safety Administration put forward the following requirements:
Relevant institutions in all levels should fully realize the significance of dealing with gas overrun alarm in a timely and effective manner, build a mechanism for treatment of gas overrun alarm and other accidents, promote the usage and maintenance of risk monitoring alarm system, improve the study of risk analysis for gas overrun, enhance on-site check on treatment of gas overrun alarm and strictly punish behaviors that violate laws and regulations like gas overrun.
