In 2021, Shanxi Hongda Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. launched six projects, including 1×1350m3 ironmaking blast furnace and supporting facility project, 2×1-million-ton double high-speed high-quality steel rolling project, 100MW ultra-high-temperature subcritical distributed gas power generation project, sintering environmental protection cooperative treatment integration 135MW subcritical waste heat power generation project, digital intelligent plant project and 30,000 m3/h oxygen generation project.
Based on introduction, these six projects are expected to be completed in July 2022, by which the company will record the production capacity of 5 million tons of high-quality steel, with high added-value superior and special high-quality steel projects accounting for over 50%, and achieve the annual production value of RMB20 billion (USD3.08 billion).
