On January 29, 2021, the Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia announced that, in response to the application submitted by domestic manufacturers in Malaysia, it decided to conduct the first anti-dumping investigation of sunset review on prepainted, painted, or color coated steel coils originating in or imported from China and Vietnam
On April 28, 2015, Malaysia filed an anti-dumping investigation on prepainted, painted, or color coated steel coils originating in China and Vietnam. On January 22, 2016, Malaysia made a final anti-dumping judgment on the prepainted, painted, or color coated steel coils originating in China and Vietnam, and ruled that the anti-dumping duty should be imposed on the products involved in the case of the above countries, with China's duty rate of 52 . 10% and Vietnam's duty rate of 0-34 . 85%.
. The final ruling of this case will be made within 180 days from the date of filing.
