MEE: To draw up and carry out pre-2030 carbon emission peak action plans

On 28 January, Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) held the routine press conference and announced that MEE will unswervingly implement new development ideas, systematically make plans for ecological environment protection of the 14th Five-year Plan, draw up and carry out pre-2030 carbon emission peak action plans, continue with pollution control campaigns, keep strengthening ecological protection and restoration, ensure nuclear and radiation safety, promote inspection on ecological environment protection in accordance with laws, effectively prevent and defuse risks of ecological environment, deliver good performance in basic supporting and guarantee and advance modernization of ecological environment governance system and governance abilities in 2021.
