Stainless steel plants in Taiwan raise quotations for stainless steel in December

On the afternoon of November 30, Tang Eng, an upstream major plant announced its sales price of stainless steel coils in December: prices for 300 series cold and hot-rolled stainless steel coils unchanged in China but up by USD30/t in overseas market, with 316 series product price remaining stable. After the price adjustment, prices for 304 series cold and hot-rolled products stood at TWD79,700/t (USD2,821/t) and TWD83,700/t (USD2,963/t) respectively in domestic market.
Yexing raised its price of stainless steel and rolled carbon steel for December on the day. It raised its rolled stainless steel by TWD2,000/t (USD70.79/t) and rolled carbon steel by TWD1,000/t (USD35.39/t) at home.
On November 27, Major rolled steel wire plants like Yieh United Steel and Walsin Lihwa has offered domestic and overseas price for December. Among the products, Walsin Lihwa kept 304 series cold and hot-rolled coils unchanged, and raised 430 plates and coils by TWD500/t (USD17.70/t) at home and USD30-150/t at abroad, with 316 series product price remaining stable; Walsin Lihwa increased 304 series rolled stainless steel by TWD2,000/t (USD70.79/t) at home and USD100/t at abroad, and raised copper-containing series price by TWD1,000/t (USD35.39/t) at home and USD30/t at abroad.
