Largest integrated coal field exploration project in Northern Heilongjiang launched

On November 18, the exploration project of Sijitun coal mine (area five) in Sunwu County, Heihe City, was officially launched. Sijitun Coal Mine is the largest integrated coal field in Northern Heilongjiang.
Heilongjiang Transport Investment Group will strive to complete all the exploration work in areas five in the first half year of 2022, and carry out the overall exploration of the Sijitun coal mine coal-bearing basin in time, laying a solid foundation for the overall planning of the mining area.
The Sijitun coal mine (area five) is an important part of the Sunwu coalfield, covering an area of 195.19 square kilometers, with long-flame coal as the main type of coal. About 548 million tons of reserves were discovered during the census period. Based on the comprehensive analysis of resource scale, geographical location and prospecting prospect, Sijitun coal mine (area five) is equipped with the conditions for building large-scale mine, and can drive the development of coal field in the whole region and build the thermal coal production base in the northwest of Heilongjiang Province.
