AM Stats: China's bauxite output up by 8.67% MOM in Oct

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 9 Nov 20 - According to Asian Metal Database, China produced about 7.02 million tonnes of bauxite in October, up by 8.67% both on a month-on-month and a year-on-year basis. China's bauxite output totaled about 66.3 million tonnes in the first ten months of 2020, a decrease of 11.1% from the comparable period of last year.
Based on the data, the bauxite output in Shanxi was about 2.36 million tonnes in October, up by 4.89% MOM, and that in Henan was about 1.85 million tonnes, rising by 27.59% MOM. The output in Guangxi increased by 3.55% MOM to about 1.46 million tonnes in October, while that in Guizhou and Yunnan remained stable at 1.05 million tonnes and 300,000 tonnes respectively.
