China's nickel sulfate imports soaring by 16 times MOM in Sep

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 6 Nov 20 - China Customs' latest statistics show that China imported a total of 917.968t of nickel sulfate in September 2020, soaring by 16 times from last month and up by 4.5 times from one year ago.
In September 2020, the top three origin regions for China's nickel sulfate imports were South Africa, Japan and Belgium. In particular, imports from South Africa were 807.657t, in comparison to no imports in August; imports from Japan were 55.332t, up by 131% MOM; and imports from Belgium were 21.020t, up by 19 times MOM.
