According to data released by JPC, India's crude steel output declined by 25
India's consumption volume of finished steel, including alloy, stainless steel and non-alloy, stood at 27.435 million tons in April-August 2020, down by 35 . 5% against the figure in the same period of last fiscal year.
Data released by JPC also indicated that India's steel product exports went up sharply by 94.8% YOY to 5 . 68 million tons in April-August 2020, but the imports dropped by 51 . 7% YOY to 1 . 67 million tons.
