On September 8, 2020, Brazil's Foreign Trade Secretariat issued announcement No. 60 of 2020 in the Federal Government Gazette, making preliminary anti-dumping determination on seamless alloy steel cylinders originated in China. It was preliminarily determined that the products involved in the case had dumping behavior and caused damage to the domestic industry, but it was not recommended to levy temporary anti-dumping duties. The tax number of the products involved was 73110.00.00.
On January 31, 2020, Brazil's Foreign Trade Secretary released Announcement No. 8 of 2020 in the Federal Government Gazette, saying that, in response to the application submitted by Brazilian enterprises, an anti-dumping investigation was initiated against seamless alloy steel cylinders originating in China. The dumping investigation period of this case is from July 2018 to June 2019, and the injury investigation period is from July 2014 to June 2019.
