Signing ceremony for Liaoning coke and by-products comprehensive utilization project held

On the morning of June 4, the signing ceremony of 4.5 million tons of coke and by-products comprehensive utilization project was successfully held in Tieling, Liaoning Province.
The project is jointly invested by Zhennan Coal Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. and Liaoning Tiefa Energy, with a total investment of RMB10.9 billion (USD1.54 billion). According to the agreement, the two parties shall cooperate in the construction of two (2×2×60) 6.25m tamping coke oven production lines and one (2×70) 7.65m top-mounted coke oven production line, with a production capacity of 4.5 million tons for coke. The project of comprehensive utilization of gas will build production lines of LNG and synthetic ammonia, with the capacity of 200,000 tons and 300,000 tons, respectively. Comprehensive utilization and industrial chain extension project of tar will construct tar deep processing equipment and supporting facilities and a needle coke production line, with the capacity of 600,000 tons and 150,000 tons, respectively. In addition, an ultra-high power graphite electrode production line, with a capacity of 150,000 tons, will also be built.
