Chinalco's three projects may receive subsidy for using key new materials in 2019 for first time

Recently, MIIT issued the list of projects that might get insurance subsidy by using key new materials in 2019 for the first time. Chinalco Ruimin Co., Ltd.'s high-performance aluminum alloy sheet for autos, Southwestern Aluminum's 7050 pre-stretched aluminum alloy plate and high-performance aluminum alloy sheet for autos, the three projects of two companies under Chinalco were on the list.
If users consumed new materials of the same varieties and technical specifications as specified in "the first batch of key new material application demonstration and guidance catalogue" which was published by MIIT in the first year, this could be considered as the first time. A total of 331 key new materials are covered in the catalogue in 2019, nearly double the 166 materials in 2018, which include 46 advanced non-ferrous materials (including 15 kinds of aluminum).
