Data from Ministry of Finance, Japan showed that the country imported 164,500t of pig iron in 2019, up by 111% YOY, recording the highest level in the past five years.
In 2019, Japan's pig iron imports from Russia rose by 65.3% YOY to 95,900t, ranking the first and accounting for 58.3% of the total import volume.
