Huayu Mining: Talco Gold's project operation to be delayed

Huayu Mining noted on a conference call on February 19 that Talco Gold's project might be delayed for two months affected by the current outbreak, the company and intermediary units are actively preparing the convertible bond material so as to complete the issuance in a shorter period. The raised funds would be used to replace the prior investment of the project.
Huayu Mining said that the project has entered the final stage; the mine, concentrator, tailings pond, power and other auxiliary engineering all progressed as scheduled, and it was expected to come on stream in March this year. But affected by the epidemic, some of the company's technical staff cannot return to the post timely. The company is actively communicating and coordinating with the government of Tajikistan to open a green channel for the company in terms of visa. It is expected that the launch of the project will be put off by two months till the second half of the year. The project will have an annual procession capacity of 1.5 million tons and an annual production capacity of 16,000 metal tons of antimony and 2.2 tons of gold.
