Odisha government approves IMFA's ferrochrome unit at Kalinganagar

The Odisha government last Saturday approved six investment projects including the proposal for a ferrochrome unit by Odisha-based Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA).
IMFA would set up a 96,000MT per annum ferrochrome unit and 10 MW waste heat recovery boiler power plant at Kalinganagar in Jajpur district.
"The company will invest Rs 547.19 crores in the new unit," said a senior state government officer.
