The Recycling Metal Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CMRA) recently said that it plans to submit secondary copper and aluminum raw material standards to relevant state authorities for review this month and aims to bring them into force on January 1, 2020 at the soonest or by the end of Q1 2020 at the latest
. At the same time, other secondary aluminum raw material standards, such as those for pure aluminum and recycled deformed aluminum alloy raw materials (same brand, same series, mixed), have also been declared to China Standardization Administration, with the drawing-up set for next year . In addition, standards for other recycled copper raw materials are also being planned.
