Hubei Jingmen ushers in first train loaded with containers of coal

On October 28, a train loaded with 46 open top containers pulled into Jingmen East Railway Station. It is the first time for Jingmen to see a train loaded with containers of coal entering in the region, which also marks the coal transport in Jingmen will be low-pollution.
Jingmen is the largest base of thermal power plant and coal consumer in West Hubei, and Jingmen East Railway Station alone receives more than 3 million tons of coal every year. As the open top container will be fully enclosed and transported, there is almost no loss during the transporting, thus avoiding dust and road litter generated by coal loading and unloading, which reduces the environmental pollution of road surface and atmosphere.
