Zhanjiang Iron & Steel starts to build coking program

Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron & Steel held an opening ceremony for the coking program construction of three blast furnaces on 25 June in the company's steel base in Donghai Island, Zhanjiang, Guangdong.
The program is designed by ACRE Coking and Refractory, including two coke furnaces of 65 holes and 7 meters and three CDQ and power systems of 100t/h, a desulfurization and denitrification system, a gas purification system and auxiliary production facilities. Its annual capacity for coke would be 1.6 million tons.
