Hailiang Group's sales of copper products up by 25.73% YOY in 2018

According to the annual report of 2018 released by Hailiang Group Co., Ltd. on late April 28, the company sold 695,300t of copper products in 2018, up by 25.73% YOY (including 123,900t from OEM). In terms of the product types, the company achieved an operation revenue of RMB30.40 billion (USD4.51 billion) on copper tube, up by 31.62% YOY; that of RMB1.79 billion (USD265.13 million) on copper rod, up by 50.13% YOY; that of RMB7.47 billion (USD1.11 billion) on raw materials, up by 48.54% YOY; that of RMB658 million (USD97.62 million) on copper bar.
In the report period, many projects have made smooth progress such as the two equity investment projects. One is Guangdong Hailiang high efficient energy-conservation and environmental-friendly precise copper tube information-based production line project with an annual production capacity of 75,000t and Anhui Hailiang high efficient energy-conservation and environmental-friendly precise copper tube information-based production line project with an annual production capacity of 90,000t. Some production lines have been put into operation successively.
