Hailiang Group closes acquisition of KME's copper alloy bar and tube assets

Zhejiang Hailiang Group Co., Ltd. announced that it entered into a share asset purchase agreement with KME Germany GmbH & Co. KG on January 28, 2019 for the acquisition of the Germany-based company's three copper alloy bar plants in Germany, France and Italy, as well as two copper tube plants in Germany and Spain.
On March 31, the two sides signed the closing memorandum and other relevant legal documents. According to the share asset purchase agreement, Hailiang Group paid full consideration for the acquisition to KME, marking the finalization of the transaction. After which, Hailiang holds 100% share of the five European plants.
