On December 28, 2018, a train fully loaded with aluminum hydroxide produced by CHALCO Zhongzhou Aluminum Co
This 40-compartment train is part the newly-established rail-sea transport which connects China's Xinxiang, Japan and South Korea. During the early stage, the train will transport several goods including aluminum hydroxide to Huangdao District in Qingdao where the goods will be transported by sea to Japan and South Korea . The destinations for next stage include Malaysia, Indonesia and European countries.
With the successful run of the new rail-sea transport, CHALCO Zhongzhou Aluminum is bound to expand its export business. In 2019, the company will invest almost RMB600 million in six refined alumina projects including 30,000tpy fine-white aluminum hydroxide project and 200,000tpy high-end coagulant project, which will lay a solid foundation for its expansion to Japanese and South Korean markets.
