Recently, authoritative academicians and experts were invited by Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration of Anhui province and Jinzhai People's Government of Anhui province to join the expert meeting of Jinzhai Shapinggou molybdenum mine development in Jinzhai county. According to initial design, with a construction period of 4.5 years, Shapinggou molybdenum mine is expected to reach an annual output value of RMB4.168 billion and tax payment of over RMB1 billion. Experts recommended that the development of Shapinggou molybdenum mine should be accelerated in order to transform resources superiority into development and economic advantages as early as possible for benefits of local citizens.
The proved reserve of molybdenum metal in Shapinggou of Jinzhai county is 2.4594 million tons with average grade of 0.14%, including 1.06 million tons of rich core ore molybdenum metal with grade standing at the high level of 0.36%. In terms of scale, grade and accessibility, it's a huge and high-quality molybdenum deposit that is rare both domestically and worldwide.
