Zhenshi Holding formally launches Weda Bay industrial park project in Indonesia

A construction ceremony was held on August 30th for the Weda Bay industrial park project jointly invested in Indonesia by Zhenshi Holding Group and other two companies, indicating that the formal start of the project valued nearly USD10 billion.
The project will be constructed in two phases. The first phase project will include 12 pyrorefining ferronickel production lines, one hydrometallurgy nickel smelting plant, three coal-fired power plants and three large wharfs and will supply over 10,000 jobs after fully going into production with a planned investment of USD5 billion in total . Weda Bay industrial park will be engage in business ranging from lateritic nickel ore and nickel intermediates to stainless steel, new energy battery material after the construction of the project is finished.
This is the second nickel related project invested in Indonesia by Zhenshi Holding Group which began to invest in a nickel ore project in North Maluku as early as 2010.
