According to Customs statistics, the imports of zinc ore and zinc concentrate from January to July this year in Manzhouli Customs District increased by 50.3%YOY to 180,000t, accounting for 10.19% of the total imports of the same period in China. They value at RMB1.26 billion, up by 85.7%YOY.
They are mainly imported from Russia. From January to July, the imports of zinc ore and zinc concentrate from Russia in Manzhouli Customs District increased by 56.6% YOY to 166,000t, accounting for 92.2% of the total imports of the two materials in the district during the same period. Imports from Mongolia totaled 14,000t, an increase of 0.3% YOY.
They are mainly imported with a normal trade mode. The imports of zinc ore and its concentrate increased by 83.9% YOY to 156,000t, accounting for 86.7% of the total imports of the two materials in the district during the same period. There is a small amount of the material imported in the form of bonded warehouse trade.
