Japan to impose anti-dumping duties on carbon steel pipe joints from China and South Korea

According to a report on March 14 by Japanese NHK TV station, the Japanese government decided to formally impose a five-year anti-dumping duty on Chinese and Korean carbon steel parts
In March 2017, three Japanese companies reported to the government that as China and South Korea dumped pipe joints at low prices, the market was chaotic. In December of the same year, the Japanese government decided to temporarily cancel the zero-tariff policy on the parts from China and South Korea, and instead levied the highest tariff (69 . 2%) on them according to the relevant regulations of the World Trade Organization.
