Nonferrous metal industry achieves RMB77.648 billion of industrial added value in Hunan in 2017

In 2017, the raw material industry of Hunan province achieved RMB267.597 billion of industrial added value, accounting for 24.71% of the total of the province, an increase of 0.45 percentage points over the previous year. Among them, metallurgical, nonferrous, petrochemical and building materials industries respectively realized RMB47.601 billion, 77648 million, 67.933 billion, 74.415 billion of scale industrial added value, up by 9.8%, -3.5%, 2.1%, -0.1% YOY respectively.
In 2017, the industrial added value of the non-ferrous metal industry in Hunan province reached 77.648 billion, a year-on-year increase of -3.5 percent, and the export value reached RMB4.159 billion, up by 32.4 percent year on year. Ten kinds of non-ferrous metal production reached 2.0562 million tons, rose by -5.2% YOY, among which, the output of refined copper, gold, aluminum, silver, antimony and copper products was 99,800 tons, 62.04 tons, 2,376,500 tons, 8,284.35 tons, 137,800 tons and 415,700 tons respectively, up by 83.3%, 37.7%, 16.2%, 14.6%, 8.1%, and 5.5% YOY, while the output of lead, zinc and tin declined.
