Lanhua Sci-tech's subsidiary obtains approval on M&A and integration project of 900,000tpy for coal mine

Shanxi Lanhua Sci-tech Venture Co., Ltd. announced on the evening of November 21 that, they have received approval from Jincheng Coal and Gas Industrial Bureau on their subsidiary Lanhua Qinyu Coal Mine’s M&A and integration project of 900,000tpy. The construction of the project will start from November 20, lasting for 33 months.
Lanhua Sci-tech’s major mine is located in the hinterland of Qinshui Mine, the largest anthracite base in China, and holds rich resources. With 6 mines, the company has an annual capacity of 8.4 million tons. The largest shareholder Huarun Daning, with share of 41%, has 6 mines in construction and integration with designed annual capacity of 5.4 million tons. They newly constructed 14 Yuxi mines of 2.4 million tons with capacity of 20.2 million tons.
The integration of Lanhua Sci-tech will bring incremental yield. At present, two integrated mines will produce more output after they are put into operation. One is Baisheng Mine with capacity of 900,000tpy and the production capacity can reach 300,000tpy during the transition period with output of only 210,000t in 2016; with capacity of 900,000tpy, Kouqian Mine was transformed into a production mine in 2016 with output of only 52,000t in 2016. In addition, Yongsheng Mine has basically completed the project of 1.2 million tons per year and made full preparation before the trial production.
