Sanxiang Advanced Materials' net profits up by 30% YOY in H1 2017

According to the semi-annual report released by Sanxiang Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. on the evening of August 15th, its operating revenues were RMB193 million in the first half of 2017, up by 40.57% YOY; net profits attributable to share holders of listed company were RMB23.5381 million during the period, up by 36.09% YOY.
The report noted that prices for fused zirconia, the main product of the company, rose in the first half of 2017 affected by increased prices for two kinds of raw materials. In particular, prices for zircon sand increased obviously in the first half of 2017 as world’s 3 major suppliers reduced their output during the period; prices for graphite electrode went up sharply affected by tight supply;
