AM Statistics: Chinese aluminum fluoride producers' stocks up by 37.2% MOM in late May

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 6 Jun 16 - According to Asian Metal Database, Chinese aluminum fluoride producers’ stocks rose by 37.2% MOM to around 19,000t in late May due to operating rate increase in the month. The Database shows that the operating rate of Chinese running aluminum fluoride plant climbed up by 2.2% to around 70.8%.

The above graph tells us that the stocks kept climbing up from February to May, which explained the reason for the aluminum fluoride price decrease recently. Most producers have no plan to cut production, so the stocks may continue to keep at a high level in June.

By regions, there were around 5,000t of stocks in Henan until late May and the stocks in Hunan and Shandong were around 3,000t. According to the data, there were seven producers, whose stocks increased in May.
According to the data, current aluminum fluoride stocks will be enough for consumption in 11 days up from 8 days in April.
