Vietnamese angle steel price unchanged

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 18 Jun 15 - Angle steel prices are unchanged in Vietnam at this moment, along with a stable market. Insiders believe that angle steel market will keep stable in Vietnam in the near future.
A steel trader from Lao Cai discloses that the price of angle steel SS400 50mm*50mm*5mm is VND11,000,000/t (USD505/t), unchanged compared with that of last week.
The source tells Asian Metal that the demand for angle steel is stable at this moment, so he prefers to keep his offers unchanged to watch the market. According to him, his current sales volume is 80-100tpd, which is close to the regular level in the peak season. However, he also discloses that Chinese exports are moving down their offers for angle steel. Since Chinese section steel covers a large market share in Vietnam, he thinks that angle steel prices are likely to go down in following weeks despite the firm market.
A steel producer from Vung Tau reports that the current price for angle steel SS400 50mm*50mm*5mm is VND11,200,000/t (USD515/t), the same with that of last week.
