Thai angle steel market stable

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 7 May 15 - Angle steel market keeps stable in Thailand with local prices demonstrating a flat trend. Insiders believe that the angle steel market in Thailand will remain quiet for some time.
A steel trader in Bangkok says that the current price of angle steel SS400 50mm*50mm*5mm is THB20,500/t (USD615/t) VAT included, unchanged compared with that of last week.
The source informs that though downstream demand shows no obvious signs of releasing, his sales performance is not bad supported by some regular customers. He prefers to hold offers unchanged temporarily as the market is relatively stable. Currently, his total stockpile stays at the regular level of 7,000-8,000t. He is inclined to hold a wait-and-see attitude towards the forthcoming market.
Another steel purchaser in Rayong reports that the current price of angle steel SS400 50mm*50mm*5mm is THB20,800/t (USD624/t) VAT included, unchanged compared with that of last week.
