Asian Metal visits Zhuzhou Smelter Group and Hengxing Industry

On September 12th, Frank Chen, cadmium market analyst of Asian Metal visited Zhuzhou Smelter Group, Zhuzhou Hengxing Industry Co., Ltd., and was welcomed by the two enterprises.

On the morning of September 12th, Asian Metal visited Zhuzhou Smelter Group and interviewed Mr. Fuwen Bin, the marketing manager, who also guided Frank to the stockpile workshop of cadmium ingot. Mr. Bin pointed out that Chinese cadmium ingot prices have hit the bottom and are likely to rebound in the near future with better demand from end users, though the markup will be quite limited in view of the unsatisfactory market performance of downstream industries.

On the afternoon of September 12th, Asian Metal visited Zhuzhou Hengxing Industry Co., Ltd., which has long-standing business of metals like Zn, Pb and Cd. However, Mr. Zhian Wen, the sales manager disclosed that a number of his cadmium ingot suppliers have ceased production due to the recent severe environmental inspection, and he holds cautious attitude towards the future market.
