Overview
In 2018, the supply of antimony ore remained tight in Chinese market while antimony ore offers stood firm in overseas market. As demand for antimony decreased and environmental inspections were conducted on a regular basis, Chinese antimony market faced challenges.
In 2019, the global economy will see a slower growth under pressure. Against this background, as a major producer of antimony products in the world, how will China react to such challenges? How will Chinese producers turn to other directions and create new profit sources? How will the global antimony ore output change? How will fire retardant industry, the largest consumer of antimony, develop? Will the demand in Japan, South Korea and Europe increase? What new directions and fields will antimony products be applied in future?
