Asian Metal visits Hainan Grown Sanlian, Hainan Wensheng, Wenchang Junlian, Wanning Jintai and Wanning Changhua

On November 14-16, 2012, David Li, general manager of ferroalloys department from Asian Metal, and Fairy Feng, analyst of titanium from Asian Metal visited Hainan Grown Sanlian Industry Co., Ltd., Hainan Wensheng New Materials Co., Ltd., Wenchang Junlian Minerals Co., Ltd., Wanning Jintai Minerals Co., Ltd. and Wanning Changhua Minerals Co., Ltd.
On the morning of November 14, David and Fairy went to the office building of Hainan Grown Sanlian Industry Co., Ltd. and talked with Yun Tianli, the general manager of the company, and Yun Ming, vice-general manager. Mr. Yun Tianli introduced the development process of the company. He also introduced the work of informatization started by the parent company. David and Fairy exchanged views on titanium market with Mr. Yun Tianli and also talked about status of other smelting companies.
On the afternoon of November 14, David and Fairy visited Hainan Wensheng New Materials Co., Ltd and met with Luo Shunfeng, the vice-general manager of Import & Export department, and Li Nan, manager of Sales Department. Mr. Luo introduced the development process of the company and expressed his opinion on titanium market. Then Mr. Li, David and Fairy visited the plant in Haikou led by Mr. Li.
On the morning of November 15, David and Fairy visited Wenchang Junlian Co., Ltd and met with Xu Huanjing, general manager of the company. Mr. Xu introduced the development history of the company, and talked about advantage and disadvantage of the smelting plant. He also expressed his opinion on oversupply of Chinese titanium ilmenite. He thinks that the key for companies’ development in slow market is not lower price but strong demand.
On the afternoon of November 15, David and Fairy went to visit Hainan Jintai Mineral Co., Ltd.. Wu Qianping, vice-general manager of the company led Asian Metal to visit the plant for titanium ilmenite, zircon sand and titanium rutile. Then, they went to the office of the company, and met with Xie Gang, general manager of Hainan Jintai Mineral Co., Ltd. and Wu Xuan, manager of sale department. Mr. Xie introduced the development process of the company, including producing and selling aspects. David and Fairy exchanged views on titanium market with Mr. Xie.
On the morning of November 16, David and Fairy went to Wanning Changhua Minerals Co., Ltd.. Mr. Wen Guofu, the general manager of the company led the visitors to see the plant for titanium ilmenite, zircon sand and titanium rutile, and he introduced the plant carefully. Then they went to the office of the company, and met Li Qingxin, manager of sale department. Mr. Wen introduced the development process of the company briefly and expressed that they will expand the output of minerals in the future.
