Ferroalloys Summit 2010 has come to a successful close at Beijing International Convention Center April 30, 2010.

The summit brought together more than 150 delegates from 100 companies who exchanged their ideas and experiences on opportunities and challenges being posed in the ferroalloys industry.

Mr. Yang Yongxin, Director of Industry Structure Dept. of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has made speech on Development of Chinese Ferroalloys Industry and Policy Trend.

Mr Wang Xiaoguang, Director of Macro-economy Research Department of National Development and Reform Commission and Mr Hu Mingyang gave an analysis of Chinese economy and development of Chinese special steel industry respectively.

Mr Zhu Jiang, General Manager of China National Minerals Co., Ltd. China Minmetals Corporation, analyzed the changes in Chinese alloy raw material market after the economic crisis.

Mr Chen Donghui, Director of Vanadium & Titanium Research Center, Hebei Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd Chengde Branch, discussed with attendees about the export situation of ferrovanadium and vanadium pentoxide in China.

Mr Cao Wenquan,Chief Representative of Eti Krom Inc Beijing Office, have made speeches on turkish chrome ore and Chinese market in 2010. Meanwhile, Mr Wang Hong, General Manager of Shanghai Jinneng Resources Co., Ltd, gave an analysis of China imported manganese ore market.

The whole ferroalloys industry is recovering now as global economy becomes better and better, but most participants are very cautious about the future economic development because of the debt crisis in Europe and serious inflation in China.
